Best-Selling Smartwatch Brands Announced! A Familiar Name at the Top

Counterpoint Research has shared the list of the best-selling smartwatch brands following the end of Q2 2025. While sales continue to decline, a familiar name takes the top spot.

As the second quarter of the year concluded, sales data from various sectors began to emerge. Now, data has arrived for smartwatches, one of the best-selling technology products. The research firm Counterpoint Research has shared the best-selling smartwatch brands.

According to Counterpoint’s data, things are not going well in the smartwatch sector. The market has experienced a 2% year-over-year decline, marking the fifth consecutive quarter of contraction. However, the situation is quite different in China, where smartwatch sales saw significant growth of 37%. The top spot in the best-selling brands list has changed compared to the previous quarter.

Best-Selling Smartwatch Brands

Looking at the list, we see that Apple has reclaimed the top position. The US-based firm achieved this with a 20% market share. In the first quarter, Xiaomi was the leader with 19%. However, Xiaomi dropped to 3rd place in the second quarter, with its share falling to 10%. In second place between them is Huawei, with a 16% share.

Additionally, it was noted that users are now shifting towards more expensive and higher-spec devices. This is one of the reasons for Apple’s rise. While products under $100 saw a 17% decline, sales of watches priced over $100 increased by 21%. Counterpoint added that although the sales figures are not encouraging, they expect 3% growth by the end of 2025.
